Micks Pancake House – Virginia beach
Filed under: Creative, Design and CSS, Food and Drinks, PhotoBlog, Places, Thoughts
I love Virginia beach. I have probably been there for 5 times and I cannot get enough of it. The small beach town, with the mighty Atlantic ocean as a backdrop is just awesome !
And I love VA beach more because of Mick’s Pancake house
The first time Futchu and me camped in the beach was with Greg, Tom and Simon. For breakfast we went to this place and it was love at first sight. Great food all freshly cooked and very very homely. Couple of years later Futchu and me camped here again and we ventured out to find Mick’s pancake house again. Futchu in her usual confident tone told me to drive down the bay loop and VOILA there was the small shack.
Here are a few pictures from our earlier collection. Dont miss the genuine I-am-very-happy-to-be-here smile on our faces.
Cheers !!
Bis.

Places: New Delhi ~ 1
There was a lot of tension when we visited India this time. We had to get our Visa stamped and anybody stamping US visas knows that this tension is inevitable.
Add on to that the anxiety of losing precious vacation days in Delhi rather than being in Guwahati with the family
But it would be unjust if I say that we did’nt enjoy at all in Delhi. The second day of being there we put on our Tourist look and went out in the street to look around Delhi (A-la-travel-channel-style). Our primary goal was to check out the historical places, which we both visited when we were kids and hardly remember anything. And so we did. Apart from touring the city we also got the chance to spend some quality time with our close friends ~ Neeraj and Pompy, who were always there to guide us, give us company and take us out to wonderful Delhi delicacies. Thanks Guys !!
Last time I was in Delhi was with my parents and my Grandmother (Dad’s Mom) when I was a little kid. I remember it was so much fun, apart from the fact that I fell sick. We then went to Agra, Mathura, Brindaban. I remember enjoying the trip very much and the rest is kind of blank. This time it was a pleasent experience to tour this Grand city as a grown up and appreciate it’s grandeur from a grown up’s perspective.

Shenandoah – Camping Trip
Dont know How I forgot to write about this one, but better Late than never
We went to Shenandoah for a nights camp out and had loads of fun.
Shenandoah National Park lies astride a beautiful section of the Blue Ridge, which forms the eastern rampart of the Appalachian Mountains between Pennsylvania and Georgia. In the valley to the west is the Shenandoah River, from which some feel the Park gets its name, and between the north and south forks of the river is Massanutten, a 40 mile long mountain. To the east is the rolling Piedmont country. Providing vistas of the spectacular landscape is Skyline Drive, a winding road that runs along the crest of this portion of the Blue Ridge Mountains through the length of the Park.
Enjoy some pictures.
